    Shall issue

Hope through out my wait time year plus the sheriff continues to issue and renew. Too much stuff being reported on the nightly news of the bad guys winning. Only seen one report of the bad guys losing lately from Georgia.

Unless things change, you're looking at about a year.

Here is the form you signed, and you should have received a copy.

Permit holders must, within 10 days of occurrence (s), report any of the following to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office. Contact the Professional Standards Division (209) 468-4342.
    1. Change of address or name.
    2. Arrest of the permit holder.
    3. Restraining order against the permit holder.
    4. Domestic Violence incident
    5. Felony citations
    6. Stolen or lost weapon (Must provide a documented Crime Report Number from the agency you filed the report with.)
    7. Inicdent involving the use of any firearm.
    8. Lost or misplaced CCW permit.

I hearby certify that I have read the above mentioned items and agree to abide by them as a Concealed Weapons Permit Holder. I also acknowledge that I have received a copy of this form.

Got it, you have to notify them if you move, get arrested, whatever.
Anyway congrats now that the long wait is over!

To be honest, I don't remember what I signed. She had to sign it as well, being a witness.
She didn't give me a copy, which I think she should have.
One line, I think was if you are arrested you need to contact them in 10 days.
Another line was if you change your address, you have 10 days to contact them.

Ehh, after the one year point. The enthusiasm went out the window. Probably very obvious by my posts.
I think I am just glad the not knowing is over.
We live in a here and now era, and 13 1/2 months is just absurd, I am not saying they need to do approvals in a day, but 3 to 6 months is a bit more reasonable.

Depends on how confident you feel on your past. If you are squeaky clean, I'd take it late in the tenth month or in the eleventh.
My process was 13 1/2 months, but they are supposed to be getting better. But they have also been getting "better" for months.
