Has the Card Format Changed yet, I saw something about standardization but dont know if SJSO changed the way the card looks again

Look like a solid blue bar along the top, picture left, CA State seal in center of info area.

Saw a post on reddit a while back. Im gonna need to update mine again I switched a gun out last year and the manufacturer had to replace the frame on mine which means new serial number but same gun. but gotta reliability test it first. Save yourself a hassle and steer clear of KAHR P380, I wanted a pocket pistol but regret this purchase, perhaps I should have just got a Beretta 32ACP or SEACAMP I didn't want the sig P238 it urks me to carry condition 1 in my pocket even with a holster.

    From https://sjsheriff.org/concealed-weapon-program:
    • Complete required training and weapon qualification. (New Applicants: DO NOT take any firearm training courses prior to receiving official notification that your CCW has been approved)

Depending on how long it takes for them to get to you if this is an initial application, I recall the class only being good for 90 days. If they take 6 months to get to your application, your class certificate, in that case, would not be valid and you would have to do it all over again. Once approved, and you submit a copy of the certificate, the rest of the process is very fast. I think my initial permit was 2 days from completion certificate to CCW in hand.

Can't speak about your choice for class.... but if you take the class, then get denied, you're out of time & money for class. Apply, get approved and then schedule the training class.

    ?

Modification was approved within two business days, and emails to ccw@sjgov.org quickly confirmed that I am ok to sell/transfer immediately. Appointment to pickup new ccw next week

My renewal is coming up, I was thinking about adding red dots to my guns on my next request. Is there any restrictions in our county with red dots ?

Sure the DOJ issue can cause owners problems. But titling the video "CANT CARRY CA P365 IN CALIFORNIA!!! CA DOJ HUGE ERROR THREATENS MANY P365 OWNERS!!!" is pure clickbait. Can't carry? No, as a previous poster mentioned you can get a copy of your DROS and submit as proof. That's an inconvenience, not what the title suggests.

Watching that video was a waste of time.
