My modification approval took 3+ months:

Approved Nov 17, 2020
Soonest appointment to pickup was about one week out.

Went to apply for my renewal, do I need to complete the min 4 hour class before I start the process online? Got to end of the online application and a copy of the cert is one of the requirements.

Interview: 12/08/20

Wow, that's pretty quick. I heard they were backed up pretty bad because of Covid and the protests in the summer.

That's what I thought, but filling out the renewal on the website it will not let me proceed until that 4th document is uploaded which is the 4 hr cert. Well I guess I will just go knock that out then now?

I was pleasantly surprised. Also, they laminated my card, which was nice. And San Joaquin didn't have much in the way of protests, things were fairly peaceful.

Applied online for my renewal and it went through fine now. Not sure why it wasn't satisfied when I tried the other day.
