That sounds right. I did not get a date when i called. They took my name and number. They called me 3 months later with a date

Does this sound like what happened to any of you? Additionally, I am a new resident (I was given my app because I would have my 1 year by the time of the appointment). I live in a sheriff contracted city. The web site and my local sub station both say that I am not subject to the 1 year requirement. The central office said I was. I'm not too concerned as they let me get my app, but I was just curious what you all thought.

      Thanks
Same here, no date just a call back a few months after I called them..

The did call, and I went thru the long process and now I carry every day everywhere I go. It took a little over 8 months from start to finish but was well worth the wait. Hang in there... The new sheriff should have the same view on LTC as Hoops does, so I've heard..

Is "for self defense" or for "personal defense" still an acceptable cause statement for SBSO?

I had a question for you guys. I had my interview late October and People have gotten and returned letters, but I havent heard anything since. How long does it take to get a response (whether yes or no) after the interview?
