as for my "frustration" statement it was in regards towards the fact that he was not going to turn in the "utility bills" needed for proof of residency,Although to buy a firearm in ca you still need 2 proofs of ID.

I think the biggest factor is trying to ignore ALL the other info/bills needed will be an instant denial. Think baby steps, until we know of more applicants being approved for "self defense" without the reference letters or sniff's packet you should only push so much.
Then after that eliminating more things like maybe the gun limit on the permit? Trying to stay just on/beyond the fine line while slowly eliminating the extra stuff Is key.
Gun rights have been and are picked at gradually over the years limiting us, We need to slowly pick away at them. Its a marathon not a sprint.

I think the CCW department likes it when people waste appointments to "make a statement". They can get them in and out easier and it pushes someone who has an actual chance of getting a permit back.

They are there to get a job done, not play games. The two guys sitting in that office want people to get approved, not denied.

Lawaia is correct. Yezzo and Aguirre aren't interested in sitting around and wasting time. They want to process applications and get people moved through the system.

The only thing I agree on is that going in there just to waste their time knowing that you won't supply the minimum requirements is just a waste.

Lack of respect for following processes and procedures can be seen as an indicator for lack of respect for the law. In other words, if you won't follow the application policy, why should they believe you'll follow their CCW policies? Not saying I agree, this is just what I was told.

Just had my interview on 2/26. Had my class this last Saturday and I will qualify on 3/18. I guess it will be a long waiting game after that.
