Or if you complete the qualification with new firearm and have not yet been approved, you can send them a quick email stating you?d like it added to your application. So once approved, it will be listed.

My renewal application was submitted about 2.5 weeks after yours. Hopefully, be hearing back from them soon. I?ve already completed and uploaded my training.

Submitted my training cert this Tuesday and today got the email with approval and to call in to make a payment.

In the payment email they mentioned that they take 100 of payments per day. No way they have resources for home visits. They did a pretty good job to make 100% of CCW process online.

I remember when they first opened up the CCW thing years ago in OC and they did do the home visits but I'm sure it's not feasible to do them anymore with the amount of applicants. A deputy rang my doorbell, asked if I was who I was and then he left. Took 5 seconds but driving around all over OC probably doesn't make sense now.

Update: just got an email saying they need additional documentation. Sent it out a few minutes after. Hoping they review it tomorrow and request payment. Almost 4 months of waiting for a renewal.

My dad just got a slow renewal, but after they asked for more docs, he had permit in hand about a week later.

Update:

after 80 days of waiting. I got my approval.

-No additional information was requested.
-No employment verification requested.

I submitted my training certification as soon as I completed it, without agency?s request.

I answered ?yes? to be named (plaintiff/defendant) in a civil lawsuit. Gave brief explanation, on the initial renewal application. Submitted the case dismissal court document without agency?s request, this morning. Got ?approval? message the same afternoon. Not sure it took 80 days because of it or just a coincidence.
