    Orange

Had my interview this morning and got my approval email! I need to call in to pay. Any ideas on how to get through to someone live? I keep getting that damn voicemail.

Is it still on the application?

    Adding weapons during interview

You may add firearms during your CCW video interview if they are registered to you in AFS.

    Sad times.
The guns on your permit are the guns from your training certificate, not your original application. The gun I put on my original application was the only gun DROSd in my name at that time so I used it to start the process. I pawned and redeemed my other guns prior to training to get them DROSd to me before training. When I took the class, I qualified with the guns I wanted on my permit but not the one on my application. I did my training prior to my interview.

At then interview, she asked me if I wanted the gun on my application added to my permit. If so, I had to qualify with it. I said no and they put all the guns on my training certificate on my permit. If you don't have any criminal convictions that you think will interfere, I would do the training prior to your interview, then you can confirm in the interview.

So, if you haven't already done your training, just take the Glock with you and qualify with all the guns you want on your permit. When you submit your permit, those are the guns that will be on your permit.

    Hope that helps.

This conflicts with their published guidance which doesn’t seem to impact initial applications.
In order to process the recent surge in new CCW applications, we will only consider amendments during the license term for the following reasons:

-Change of address or legal name change
-Lost or stolen license with a completion of a lost license form (download below under Related Files)
-In the event a firearm malfunctions and is replaced by the manufacturer
-In the event of a damaged/lost/stolen firearm, a different firearm may be added if that firearm is the only firearm listed on their license. Licensee will need to contact OCSD for approval at ccwpermits@ocsheriff.gov.

All other amendments will be processed at the time of application renewal. This is a temporary measure that will allow staff the opportunity to process the large volume of new applications in a timely manner.
The “license term” doesn’t begin until issuance. Initial application isn’t application renewal.

That allows you to list the guns…it doesn’t register them and reflect the entry in AFS.

They will let you to revise the list of the guns during the interview. If they forget, politely remind to the interviewer
