Did you email your training certs to the CCW unit before being told to proceed to training, like bb557 did?

Your timeline is extremely similar to mine, with two days between our request for training docs.(We probably interviewed with the same Deputy TBH)

Phone on LOUD and will not be leaving my side for the next 14 days haha.

Yes, I emailed my training cert ahead of time to both the deputy and the unit.

Deputy told me at the interview it was fine if I trained early, as long as I accepted the risk of it being wasted if I were denied.

Had my interview in Whittier yesterday with a female deputy.
Told me to go do a Livescan and wait time is about 6 weeks.
Livescan done same day.

Either wait time for the livescan or wait time for them to process your livescan.
Either or both are good estimates.

I wouldn't take it too seriously. They have a lot of applications they're working through.

Both together. Basically if I don't get an email they received it within 6 weeks, I should follow up.

I did Livescan on the way home from the interview. Mine cleared quite quickly. I did the training as soon my schedule would permit and submitted. After I submitted training,the next call I got was to pick up. I never received a get training email.

I'm happy for you, but man does your timeline make me bitter when compared to mine and my yellow GC.

Unless of course I'm denied for some reason, that would explain it. But if so, then let me know LASD lol.

Thanks , and I totally understand. I don't think you are denied. Pretty sure they would have mailed the letter by now. I think some applications and or deputies move at a different pace. I don't understand it either, but hang in there.
