Currently filling out my app, one question to those who have submitted.
Are cellphone while driving fines considered moving violations ? Did you list any ?
I know a new law passed but my citations are from before this new law took effect.
I'm kind of erring on the side of caution and thinking to just put it on there, but just wanted to get a second opinion. Also paid for a DMV record and it doesnt show any on there so I think they may not be considered moving violations. (prior to new law, which I believe a 2nd citation will be considered a moving violation if done within 36 months of the last one.)

Nope. My deputy was firm and told me don't email if I don't need to as it slows them down. Also if someone's impatient you could be thrown into the denied pile due to showing your character of being impatient lol. I'll just sit and wait.

It should all be based on the merits of your gc not if an applicant is deemed to be impatient just because they want a status update.

My schedule for pick up was called in 2 days before. Deputy stated that Monterey park was the location. I came from Santa Clarita. I have a friend who had his interview and pick up done at the SCV station during the early phase of this CCW application. I guess wherever in the County it falls as long as we get it. Good luck on yours.
