Many of us still got another 5 hours to be hopeful for today. LOL

correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think LASD will issue...
here's what happened in chronological order
1) mailed application to LASD
2) LASD called and ask questions about my GC
3) LASD set interview date and asked to bring documents related to my GC
4) had interview and was asked again questions about my GC
5) at the end of the interview, i was told to take live scan and take CCW course ASAP and then it'll take 1~6 weeks to schedule for CCW permit pickup
6) did live scan and ccw class within a week and notified LASD
7) almost a month later, i received email for more supporting docs for my GC
8) submitted what i have and it's been over a month

MJ50 - You should be fine. I'm on day 29.5 of waiting after submitting training certs.

I'm just unlucky. Most other guys like Vinh are 14 days and they get issued.

What I think happens is they have a stack of approvals.
But the new guys like Vinh get approved and they put it top of the stack.

The woman who calls people for permits, then work from the top of the stack not realizing the latest and freshest applications are the top.

So guys like you and me are set to rot at the bottom.

my concern is lasd asking for additional docs AFTER livescan and course are done, when they should've asked for such docs during interview, no?

Pretty crazy how easy it is. The LA form says you just need 70% of your shots in the 7-ring of a B-27 target. The 7-ring is the largest oval, covering most of the torso: https://media.mwstatic.com/product-i...362/362147.jpg

Not that we should draw attention to this. If carry spreads a lot and the legislature notices this, they'll require us all to shoot bullseyes at 50 yards with 100% of shots.

No longer "anonymous cuban" as the video link led to another YouTube at Prado with your name.......nice shooting. I have shot with Taran Butler several times at SWPL USPSA and marvel at his efficiency. Simply no wasted motion at all. Are you shooting Sig X-five Legion?

I don't know who that clown is in those videos. But yeah, him and I both shoot the X5 Legion.
