@Paul49 I’m gonna have to disagree on that one man. Gun control isn’t racist. And people have to stop thinking everything is related to racism because then it takes away from true racism as a whole.
I think all the fees and hoops you have to jump through directly impacts those who are low income and most of the time they’re the ones who truly need them then most but can’t afford the fees or can’t take time off for the interview and such. But I don’t believe gun control is racist. Does it ****ing blow yes but it’s not racist

Dude the roots of gun control are 100% objectively based in racism. This isn’t really up for debate, it’s historical fact.

@seaweedsoyboy I won’t read it and like I said point me to a law that on the books currently that directly says you cannot get a firearm or a firearm accessory because of the color of your skin. I’m not interested in someone’s interpretation of the law and how they think it’s racist I’m interested in the actual law and where it states that you cannot get something because of the color of your skin

Just because the law doesn't list race specifically doesn't mean that it isn't racist because the affects of the, if we look at the results, tend to have the largest impact on those that are in minority groups. You can easily craft laws that are racist without having to actually target by race. Let's take a look at university admission policies for example. It's pretty clear that many are crafted to lower white and Asian admission and favor minorities other than Asian, yet never once do they need to mention race. I suggest you read the Racist Roots of Gun Control by Clayton Cramer. This was written long before the 1619 Project nonsense so you don't have a strawman to attack:
