The Dep I had an interview with accepted my vehicle registration as my proof of residency.

However, I did bring a whole lot of other mail including a IRS tax form that was mailed to me, paycheck stub, credit card bill, and anything else I could find.

Yup. Same here. I had a Manilla folder of like 20 documents. Felt like I was showing up for a court hearing.

I had copies of my lease, car registration, W2, pay stub, internet, LADWP, Socal gas bills.

Copies of my application, of my GC, DROs of my firearms,

Can we talk to BLM and ask them to schedule a protest after 630? I get off around 5 but need to go home to change and traffic sucks...so can really only counter protest in the evenings.

I or we (plus parents) had documented all the police reports of threats and assaults that these tenants had conflicted on to us. Of course police reports. My thing is even that event have taken place maybe 5 years ago and have long since move out.... would it still be a good reason? because they still live within Los Angeles county

I would say, yes. When I handed my stuff over to my investigator, he said anything you have that pertains to you, and having any GC will help. More is better to pad your file.

Does anyone know the average time it takes for DOJ LIvescan clearance? Mine has been stuck in "in process" under the firearms section for 4 weeks now. Curious what do the research under this process? I'm cleared on the other segments.

The sheriff’s latest fb live from this week was 669 issued, 382 pending. That’s the most we’ve ever had in LA county. I think the biggest delay for everyone is the firearms portion of livescan so I would do your live scan as soon as possible if you pass the interview.

While breaking records for total number of CCWs issued is great, when you’re starting from virtually zero that’s not saying much. If I were a LASD CCW holder I would not feel reasonably secure until >2% of the qualified LA Co population has a CCW.

Cocktail napkin calculation: 10M total population, assume 2/3 adults -> 6.6M, take away 10% as disqualified (felons, psych, whatever). 2% of 6M is 120,000 CCWers for LAC alone. I emphasize that because the most recent CCW total for the entire state was ~120,000.

You’ve got to figure out how to help AV get many more qualified applicants and get them processed faster. AV needs more resources from the LA Co Board of Supervisors! It is your job to help AV, if you want to ensure LA Co won’t go back to Dark Red....

Just got mine back this morning and I submitted it on 3/31. FBI+DOJ returned back the same day, firearms took 5 weeks.
