It's just an option on the submittable form where it asks for the copy of the ID, proof of residency and good cause. No fields.

Sent my cert via email, now will wait for permit to be sent.

    Pretty darned surreal.
Just received my permit in the mail today, 9/28/22

    Quick turnaround! (18 days)

Ok, so they DO send you an expiration email notice now.
However it's just a few days before you expire. So that needs to be moved up to 45 days before if you ask me.

Current guidelines on the Sheriff's site says you have to wait for the 45 day mark. I guess it's good news indicating they've gotten the renewal process down to 45 days instead of 90.

I started on the 45th day; which was as soon as I could. I had already done my requal a couple of weeks before that.

Yep, heard back from them and it mirrors your experience, sending them out with just a few days buffer. I guess that will help prevent expiration date creep.
