    What say the braintrust?

yup, they had me re-submit one of my utility bills for a fresh one, and i pro-actively uploaded a fresh paystub, too, since validating my employment might prove to be a bit more protracted of a process than other folks.(my company is very protective of employee info)

This whole requirement, like much of the CCW dance, has zero practical value anyway. I had a conversation with the Las Vegas police offer that headed their gun unit. At one time, they made you qualify and list by S/N like CA and figured out that all of that hassle did not save a single injury or prevent or solve a single crime so they dropped it and had a system where if you qualified with a revolver you could carry any revolver and if with an auto, you could carry any auto. After a while of that, they checked with the instructors and found that nobody could point to a single case of somebody who could qualify with one format and not the other, so they dropped that and now you can qualify with anything and then carry anything. It turns out if you know how to shoot, you know how to shoot. Who'd have thunk it?
^^^ All of this. Maybe the portal would allow you to upload your test results but I just don't see CA doing away with that requirement. Their goal is to make all this as obnoxious as possible.

I'd LOVE to be wrong about this though.

heard another rumor that guns listed on license may go away, there will be an online portal you can add-subtract, basically any handgun so long as its registered to you will be gtg.
