    Any updates on your app?

It seems not too different from carrying into a restaurant where they have a no firearms policy. All they can do is ask you to leave, and I don't think that is considered a reason to revoke a permit, so why should it be a reason to deny a permit. I know the Sheriff can do whatever he wants here, I'm wondering if we have any actual data. I also wonder about other services that don't carry passengers and what their policy is.
Good Moral Character: if you intentionally and willfully violate the terms of the contract you sign with Uber/Lyft (i.e., you intentionally breach your contract creating civil liablity), that shows a lack of GMC. That's my GUESS. Makes the Sheriff wonder what terms of your CCW permit are you planning to violate (no carry in bars, no drinking while carrying, etc)

    Uber Firearms Prohibition Policy
Our goal is to ensure that everyone has a safe and reliable ride. That's why Uber prohibits riders and their guests, as well as driver and delivery partners, from carrying firearms of any kind while using our app*
Anyone who violates this policy may lose access to Uber.
*To the extent permitted by applicable law.

Our "No Weapons" policy applies when you are doing business as a representative of Lyft, which includes times that you are driving for Lyft, as well as times that you are visiting a Lyft Hub.

Unless you have paid $105. to the SD Licencing Division and been denied you have never applied. Call them and get an appt time now. Join SD County Gun Owners Association now and heed their advice. Learn to shoot bullseye and then shoot IDPA while you're waiting around and asking questions.

    2. I applied immediately after the original Peruta decision and my application was "held in abeyance" pending the en banc review. I've never received a formal denial. If the answer to 1 is "yes" does my previous application have any impact, whether positive or negative? I was not in the position described by point 1 when I previously applied.
    1. Is an interesting question. I have never heard of GC being developed by checks as opposed to cash. OTOH if I were you, I'd point out that you are at increased risk of being targeted because, to an armed robber, you appear to be carrying something of value from a financial office. The robber does not know they are checks which may be of little value to him as opposed to cash until AFTER your life is threatened. The courier walking around the jewellery district carrying fake diamonds is probably at just as much risk as the guy carrying real ones.

    See the logic there?

    2. As far as I know, all those post Peruta applications are effectively void and have no impact either way. Just start over from scratch, but on the form where it asks about previous applications, be sure to list it. Others may have more inside information on this.

Plus P Proficiency will give you required training and can teach you to shoot. Retired Arson Investagator and 5 years head shotgun instructor at Front Sight Bakersfield/ Pahrump. Thirty years training and comp shooter. Highly adept at 3 gun and shoots revolvers as adeptly as he shoots pistols. None of that is important though if an instructor can't access and teach you what you need to know. I have worked with numerous instructors in SD area and Larry is solid. Mark Cleary

Just my two cents but doesn’t seem like this separates your dangers from the rest of the populations.
