There is no longer a 3 weapon limit on the permit. I have 7.
I wish today's liberals could understand: You cannot be generous by giving away other peoples' money and you cannot demonstrate your virtue by your willingness to give up other peoples' rights.

The more time I spend on this forum, the more sense kcbrown makes.

Who did you qualify with? Did they charge extra for additional guns?
Stop calling them Lawmakers. It only encourages them.

I went with Discount Gun Mart on Morena. There was no additional charge for extra guns. But I also didn't bring in 17...just 5.

Also qualified with Kyle and Patrick at DGM Morena. The last time I qualified, he charged per page, and I think 5 or 6 fit on a page. You'd have to call and ask about the current policy.

Question for recent renewals. My permit expires 8/2 and, on a whim, I started the renewal application. One of the documents that needs to be uploaded is proof of training. Is the procedure for renewal different from the initial and the training is done before approval? Is approval automatic for renewals? I noticed the good cause statement (with corroboration) isn't requested; at least on the 1st page (upload requirements) as I have hesitated to do the training if there's the possibility of denial.

I think this is a confusion in terminology. All the things you are being asked to upload must be uploaded rather than entered because they are generated by others. You will have to provide a good cause statement as part of the application so you can type it directly in where you are asked rather than upload, but what many people do prepare their good cause separately and work on it until it is perfect, save it as a PDF, upload it with the rest and type in "see attached" in the requested space in the application.

Also, if you are renewing and your GC or other circumstances have not changed significantly, you should be approved with little problem.

I understand that for the initial application, which I did. The renewal app seems to require less information.

Sorry for the delayed response (we had a few deaths in the family), but I really really appreciate the guidance. I am at day 90 today, and will give it as long as it needs.

Tertiary side note: Please reach out/call and hug your loved ones, make every moment last, and make sure you live without regrets.

All I can say is that it's always possible things have changed, but on my renewal, the only difference in the application for a renewal vs. initial permit is the checkbox where you indicate if it is a renewal or initial application.

                          Modification Update:
3/26/2022: Submitted modification app in Permitium on Saturday
3/28/2022: Received email that application received on Monday (stated 3-4 week timeframe)
4/13/2022: Received email that modification was approved and was able to pick it up same day.

2-1/2 week turnaround time is pretty awesome.

I got my interview 1 week after I applied. I got my approval 88 days after the interview.
