New to the Site, I've lurked on it off and on for a while.
I have over 20 years in the USMC, so I know my way around a variety of weapons. I currently own a Ruger P94, AR-15 (5.56), Saiga AK-74 (5.45), Win 1894 (.32 Spl), and soon to be owner of a Win 70 (.300) unless I change my mind and change my layaway to a .308 or 7mm-08.
I joined to get a better knowledge of the CA gun laws. I live on the border by Yuma during the week, and go home to Escondido on weekends.

Hey Everyone,

Technically this is post 2 after a short "pm sent" post for a Mossy 590 for sale. I have a Mosin 91/30 and a passed down WW2(?) pilot pistol from Europe. Been lurking on here forever but just decided to create an account to get some more info on the pistol and pick up some more toys. I live in San Pedro and mall crawler refers to my Jeep Grand. lol

I'm an avid shooter and lover of all things tactical. I've been lurking on here for years, but I decided to finally get around to creating an account.


Some info about me:

I'm a 19 year old male from Orange County. I'm currently going to college in NorCal, though. I own several firearms, my favorites of which are my Noveske N4 (Bullet Button build) and Glock 19 (interfamilial transfer). I look forward to learning from and contributing to the CalGuns community.

Hello everyone.
New to the site, discovered you when looking into CA gun laws.
I'm a Brit and have been living in CA for about 9 months. I'm currently getting my Hunter Safety course completed so that I can get my Hunters License as I'm not even allowed to touch a weapon without one, being on a H1-B visa is quite restrictive :-(

Once I have my Hunters License I'll be off to the range with some of my "local" friends and their hardware and I will then be looking to buy myself a rifle, I can see that I'll get some good direction from everyone here. ^_^

Hello.
I'm a born again gun owner. I haven't owned a gun since High School. I live on the Central Coast. My wonderful wife, in collaboration with badhabit90, got me a AR-15 (5.56) rifle for Father's day. So, now I have a project. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about my rifle and guns in general. There is a lot to learn. The one thing I have learned so far is that the State of California is a joke when it comes to gun laws. I am looking forward to lurking on the forums and trying to absorb as much info as possible.

Hey guys just wanted to drop in and say what up, Im the new guy here I guess ha. I live down in sb, and love going to the shooting range and having a blast shooting with my gun. I pretty much joined cause I want to learn more about firearms and figured this was a good place to do it.

Just joined up because i found out about senator Leland Yee's asinine proposition to ban "evil guns" in California even though they are compliant with all rules and regulations set fourth by his very same 3 ring circus. I like the live updating list of crapolla SB's that California legislators are pushing to sneak past us red blooded proud gun loving and freedom loving American citizens. Im just a former marine, average joe that is forced to build his own AR's because its soooooooo difficult and expensive to do it any other way in our great state. but ill tell you what, if Arizona had an ocean, i would be packing up a moving truck so fricken fast!!!....
