Crossing state lines, it has to be on the "roster" or exempt. Doing a PPT doesn't get you around that rule unless you are doing a transfer from another CA resident (and almost always in person, though this part may not be set in stone, check with your FFL). I may be wrong, but the better place to ask this question is in legal, but search around, I am sure it has been covered multiple times.

Im new and dont know how to start a new thread

Hello, Im new to CalGuns and i have no clue on how to start a thread. Ive read that you simply click the 'New Thread' button but I cannot find it. I was pointed to this site by my local gun shop to sell my AR-15. Please help.

Another noob to this wonderful forum

Hello everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself as well as thank all of you for the massive amount of info you all have contributed to this wonderful forum.
I'm a returning to guns noob. Grew up with wonderful instructors, my Father and my Uncle, but stpped away for the last 20 years. Now getting back in with a restore of my first rifle (Remington Mohawk10c).
Due to the economy and my lack of a nice sum of money at any one time, I am planning on building my first CA legal AR-15 (buying it in sections over a period of time) so if anyone can offer any pointers or point me to the right section I would be be very grateful.

As you can tell, my small introduction is more than just a "Hi Guys". I'm a talker, so I look forward to talking/chatting with you all.

Hello everyone, joined the site a few days ago when I found a Beretta 92fS ghost for sale. I traveled to northern California for ftf purchase and it was well worth it. I got got 6 nickel mags, cleaning kit, speed loader, all papers, the original box and case and a special Beretta case. I can't pick up actual pistol until next week!!
