Hi All,
I joined up after lurking and reading the forums. I'm an old guy that has been shooting since I was a boy back in North Dakota in the 50s. I retired and live in Tehachapi and enjoy going to our range here and punching holes in paper with my AR15 and AR10. Still have my first gun a single shot 22.

I'm in the city of Los Angeles and have been doing some tactical handgun and shotgun training, got the bug to move on to tactical rifle, and decided to build a semi auto 223/556. But am I ever so glad I was pointed to this site-- there's a lot to consider and MUCH caution to take. Yikes! Thanks to you for such a valuable resource, and thanks to God for guiding me to you.

Hi all,
I'm new to the site. I'm finally out of school, working, getting used to the house payment and so have some money for guns and hunting. Just taking hunters safety in a few weeks and looking for something that could possibly take down a pig or dear. Looking for advise, maybe something used.
I grew up shooting, but my father hated guns. I really enjoy them and want my kids to understand how to use them safely. Oh and I can't wait to get out on my first hunt.

Was a member (only a few posts though) here a while ago, but for the life of me I can't figure out what my username or email used was. Always great information on this forum. Went to my first show in many years in Ventura, and a great time chatting with many of the vendors. I was just looking for advice on how to sell a S/W Police Chief 38Spl.
