Unfortunately due to CA red tape and a crappy landlord, GFT will be closing their retail store.

Major bummer. Sad to see such a great shop shutting down, but it sounds like they are pretty content with re-focusing their energy into the other business, so at least there is a positive outcome there."Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid." - Albert EinsteinComment

went by today, and 3 of the 5 storefronts were closed. I have to believe the owner of the lot wants everyone out so they can sell it to developer.Comment

We hate to see another FFL close in CA. Lease non-renewals are awful. We do still off AR Pistols at least, so there's still availability even if we are a little drive

I second crazydaves comment.
what FFL's in San Diego accept online Ammo Order deliveries and do ammo Transfers?
Gunfighter was so awesome at this.Comment

"free enterpise" is concerned ONLY with making the most money. Period. If they can make more by selling it to a developer - they will. And probably should.Comment

I thought you could only store guns if you have an FFL. Would they still be able to take in guns for smithing and cerakote if they forfeit their FFL license?

I and many people I know ran/run very successful profitable businesses for decades. While the bottom line was necessary to continue operations, it was hardly our main focus let alone the only one.Comment

Read the link. At least for the time being they have zero plans to reopen as an ffl anywhere. Really sad, I have a few AR pistols from them and always had guns transferred there. They will be missedComment
