Just trying to chip in... I know a major clean up is overdue but we can all chip in 1 site at a time...

I live in Moreno Valley and will be using this blm site so I will do my part and the part of others that dont feel the need to clean up. Its a shame that people cant even pick up the empty ammo boxes they leave behind. Try doing that at a private gun club and you wont be a member for long.Maybe thats why Maywood is so strict in letting people in there club

It's a great spot, but if you go at the wrong times there can be some really sketchy people there. Nice clean-up job, the last time I drove through the entrance looked like a dump.

I live in Perris, but I haven't been there yet. When are the good times to go? I haven't checked it out because I assume that on the weekends it's probably sketchy and I work during the week.

I think early in the am on the weekend, and I would drive around the mountain and shoot on the back side (you will want a vehicle with good clearance). I've been trying to find a spot to stretch the legs on my bolt guns.

just came from there today i went early in the morning and me and my uncle had it all to our selves for about 4 hours then a couple of people showed usp. as a matter of fact theres a lady out there that goes with her daughter to pick up the used brass to recycle it and she was raking up the shot gun shells. i picked up shot gun shells yesterday and showed up today in the morning there must of been 300 shells just laying there.the sign clearly states please pick up after your selves or they will shut down the site.I dont know why people cant pick up after them selves.If anyone does decide to go please make sure to take a rake and large garbage bag as part of your equipment on the outing you will need it

Did you shoot at the entrance or drive around to the back of the mountain/hill. Seems like there are some great spots around back. I am really trying to find about 500 yards to stretch my rifles legs but it seems like there are trails everywhere.
