... when I go out with the kids...the trick is ... I make them all pick up for about 30-45 min. They're so amped to be there and to go shooting that it flys by for them.

I would be in for a clean up. I'm kinda new to shooting there, I just started going to Hodge about 6 months ago, been there about 4 times since and camped once. Always try to clean up a bit, but there is just a ton of trash. Would almost need to make your own tool/rake to clean the shells up. Maybe a metal bow rake and weld in an extra tine inbetween each.

Anyone know someone that owns their own construction/excavating biz?

With all the new shooters that bought their AR's during this frenzy, they're gonna be shooting at places like Hodge and it's gonna get severely worse... and dangerous. Still, I don't want to see this place shut down.

I am a High Desert native. To hear fellow Calgunners concerned about Hodge Rd. is very refreshing. Count me and my family in for future clean ups of this area.

I think we need a person to take owner ship. Looks like we have a good size group of people, but need someone to take charge and say lets do this on xyz day and time.
