I got there late. at like 4PM because I was OD'ed on NyQuil and had to be home to watch someones kids, and I hate to say it..

But the range was absolutely littered again.

      Bottles everywhere and boxes.

a group of people were shooting glass beer bottles and tannerite(not a bad thing, just mentioning it) at the far left 25 yard lane.
Saw 3 illegal things that would put a man in club fed for 10 years or more.

The range has been cleaned up of all those walmart 12ga hulls. I picked up a bag of brass and brought some trash from 2nd furthest lane back down to the garbage bags, There were so many boxes out there used for targets, I couldn't count them with both hands and feet. This was all 3-4 hours after you guys left. The shotgun wads at about 30-35 yards is amazing. If raked up it would probably fill 2 pickups

We can try all we want, but we are out numbered by stupidity.

Or we can get some of those home depot guys to clean up the range. The dust was just kicking up too much to do much for me. My eyes started watering and the sinuses kicked in.

ALSO there was a truck there with a flat tire that no one claimed.

I dont know if im ever going to that place again, I have to pick up after people and wash the car every time I go there.

ONE MORE THING, I almost got ran off a slippery gravel road, the one coming from lincoln by an oncoming white F350, he just hogged the whole road on the turn and force me to swerve to the shoulder and drift my car back straight. Had I hit the brakes, I would of smashed head first into the side.

      Fing douche bags man.

      AK kept stove piping.
Scope caps on the AR broke off.
People kept shooting each other's targets.

      It was a horrid weekend.

I've never been there, but I might join you guys next time. I'm waiting on a few firearms to finish the 10 day wait period, so if I have them by then I'll go with you guys.

Hence the reason I said it was clean (for now) and I started to think; instead of saying I give it a week until it's trashed again, I should've said; a few hours.

Sorry that I really didn't get any pics of the SBR guys; as a result there really wasn't any photographic proof of the fact that they were there and helped clean up other than the pic of their trailer and sign. I was going to try to get them in the group pic but the rest of us were ready to leave.

Glad you liked the pictures.... I need a better lens--I'm kinda surprised the pics came out as well as they did.

Oh yeah and I'd be up for an Oroville clean up too.

orville is pretty cool i went out there the same day as the spencville cleanup and it was thrashed. i would be down for a cleanup. weekends are good for me. if you guys want to do we should really see if we can get it closed for a day because it's huge out there. it's about 200yards wide and 550 yards long. anyways i'm down to go and would love to take my 30-06 out there again.

We just need someone to sponser an Oroville cleanup, I cannot afford to get it started myself, but I would be down if someone decided to get it going.

I love to shoot also & have been to Spenceville a few times. I hate to hear it's a dump, but it was a dump last time I was there, now I pay the Range to shoot it's always clean there. I think we need to find someone with a big backhoe & srape the ranges & bury all the junk right there! What do you think? Bam! Done in 1 day.

Just got back from the spenceville range. It didn't look bad, I take my trash home with me, including targets. If everyone did that it would be way clean, maybe some signs asking to"Please remove your targets when done"?? Does anyone think that would help?,I do see a lot of responsible people there & I know it's the losers that leave their target trash.

                        Good work guys!

You should see the Cherry Creek range where I live - it's about 500 times worse than yours is. I've never shot there, but I walked by the other day and couldn't believe it.

I was there today, with my Dad and Uncle. The range was not spotless but I would say pretty clean.

The guy next to us did leave about 200 .223 brass there that I picked up

By the usual spenceville standards it's pretty clean.
