    Ladies, I got shellacked!

I was out getting my hair done, shopping and such yesterday.
Walking past a nail salon, I decided I might get some color for my nails!
It's been 6-7 years since I've had a manicure. I saw that there is a new thing called "shellac"? So I thought I would give it a try.

Have any of you ladies had your nails shellacked?
    Does it last?
    Better than regular color?

    Notice sexy deep red color

      OHOD, they look purty

I don't have the patience to have people poke me, so I haven't seen the inside of a salon for either a manicure or pedicure. Being the bumpkin that I am, you know how I hate socks anyway

However, your nails look nice -- whatever the process!!!

I like looking at pictures too and trying to figure out more information than the intent.

        What do you see?

I think that might be the Jel stuff they just came out with. My wife got it done then ended up buying the machine to do her own cause it last so long.

That treatment is essentially what has been used for years of a similar name.

You could probably go super hero now and deflect bullets with your nails and look good while doing so.

As with the above the picture is telling a lot about you. As all pictures without a neutral background. A natural environment of OHOD. This is why I prefer to edit or redact stuff in pictures or go for a neutral background. My Mauser cleaning pictures told a ton about me that I would have in greater thought redacted. I am just naturally secretive and prefer Zero information than some.
...but their exists also in the human heart a depraved taste for equality, which impels the weak to attempt to lower the powerful to their own level, and reduces men to prefer equality in slavery to inequality with freedom.

Lots of my friends love it. I am too addicted to my gel nails to switch over but those look pretty!

I think they will last longer than gels! I am a psycho about washing my hands and I have hand sanitizer in my bag all the time and my color just gets eaten away so fast. I think shellacking will last longer I havent tried it because I don't like the name.

So it's a heavier type of coating?

My friend said the shellac lasted as long as my gel nails (about two weeks). I might ask about it this weekend as I am due for a fill.

Maybe that's what we need at the Calguns booth... someone to do nails while we talk about membership quotas

The lady at the salon said "You come back. 2 week. Fill."
I'm like, suuuuure. If they last that long.
I've had fake, gel, regular color, wraps and everything under the sun. My nails are so brittle and flexible that they don't last.

We'll see how they go over the next couple of weeks.

I like the shop I went to. Golden Nails Salon.
They have cool relaxing music, Buddha sculptures everywhere, Lotus flower pictures and a soothing caring presentation.
Maybe next time I will get a pedicure.
I think I will next week.

I believe all the gals in this shop are Thai.
When I went to Phuket, I had a massage every morning, on the beach, for 1 hour.
The girls on the beach were gently rough.
One afternoon there was an elephant on the shoreline!!!!
