Well here is a ques, when the LGS did my Gen 4 19 in SSE . They had put a LoneWolf barrel for 17 in it and not a 32acp SSE barrel. When I ask why they did that. I was told but they ran out of barrels but on the DROS it reads 32acp. So will this be a problem on my CCW

I am a real live seconhand dealer. Whether people follow the law or not is up to them but if you hold a pawn or second hand dealer license all property that is taken in by the shop for pawn or consignment has to be reported. As such it must be held for 30 days. I have been audited 3 times in the last year and every time they bring a list of firearms and want to see the date they were released.

So to summarize, you can in fact pawn and Re-DROS your gun the on same day. This has already been done by numerous calguns members in the real world.

And I know several people who have taken their pistols in for consignment and retrieved them via DROS after changing their minds, without 30 days needing to elapse.

Lastly, I know of no FFLs who are in the business of handling consignments that require any wait before placing the firearms on display for sale.

The 30 day hold applies to outright purchases of second hand goods by a second hand dealer, not pawned or consigned items.
