I haven't been able to log into the new system since trying yesterday. Anyone else having the same problem. Can't pull up the user guide or letter we received in the mail either. Hope it isn't already overwhelmed.

signing up an employee

I tried to log in. I was able to get help by phone the first failed attempt. Followed her directions, failed again but nobody answered the phone when I called the 2nd time.
I am a sole proprietor, one man business. I tried to go yes then no on the Dealer COE out of frustration. I tried my CDL as the ID. I double checked my COE, CFD, FFL and CDL inputs. I gave up, will try tomorrow. I tried under Chrome and 64 bit IE.Comment

It is not working currently. Tells me the DROS system is not available. If we have multiple ffls are we able to use the same email address for all of them?Comment

I set up two additional accounts with mine.
I just started a new registration, put that they were not COE holders, put my COE number in and put their CA DL numbers in for ID. It did require different e-mail addresses. So once you use an e-mail address, it becomes invalid for future registrations.
Again, I got away with that easy because I own two domains tenpercentfirearms.com and taftguns.com and I have multiple prefixes that go to the same account. So I used three different e-mails that all go to the same exact inbox.
And it isn't working right now.
des.doj.ca.gov right?www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.Comment

What if an employee is a COE holder? I tried to enter their information and cannot get past the first page. It states that something is wrong with the info entered. No luck....
EDIT: Nevermind. I just used the dealership COE number and that worked. I guess employee COE numbers are not something they allowed for in the new site design.Last edited by EBR Works; 11-07-2013, 1:35 PM.Comment

You might check out if the system allows for the use of the comment field for email addresses:
USER+COMMENT@DOMAIN
where the "+" is actually the "+" character. The comment is ignored in terms of delivery, but you can filter on that to decide to what to do with the email and/or track where it came from.Kemasa.

I was able to register my 07 butit won't let me signup for my 01 ffl. I even verified all the info with them on the phone. The lady said she will have to investigate and will call me back later today.Comment

New DES system/ DES User Guiude question
OK...New to the forum...
Does anyone have any idea if DOJ will be mailing out a copy of the
DES User Guide to FFL's or must we download and print out all 69 bloody pages of it??American soldier by choice. Made in America by the Grace of God.
