I can't say I care for the whole "Medical weed" front as it is just another way of being a legal drug dealer. Mixing this with a FFL would not only get no support but fuel the anti-2nd groups to tie the two things together as a reason for more gun control laws.

Its one thing to actually have people who supposedly "need" weed to heal medically but a completely different animal for those who want to have a business marketing weed out to anyone who'll pay a fee for a medical card to legally have weed.

I'm sure that your local city planning would cr*p a brick if you were to bring such a proposal to them anyhow.

Seems like you have plenty cash around to open up a range and a gun shop and hire some cute girls to help advertise it. That would be a win-win combo and you'd draw in more investors as well.

If you're not sure what to do with all the money you have, feel free to send it my way

I found this in the Tracy Press police log yesterday... I can't find it on line though.

Not cool, not funny. Just my $0.02, for what it is worth. Only in Kalifornia. I swear, if it wasn't for the weather, I would be outta here!

I think it's a profitable venture, albeit an interesting one.so why not put one under a corporation and the other under your name or anyone elses, and u could just be listed as a trustee or the like?get the ffl first, and then after you have said permits and the likes, open the other up.I say you won't know til you try.sure it's CA,so it's not within the Norms like Oregon per say,but who cares right?btw, where might this be at geographically?I gotta see this one your up and running.there are music shops/gun stores that I've seen.I know of one in Reno,I'm broke every time I go,they have the best of both worlds!

You'd be better off opening a shady "One visit is all you need!" Chiropractor next door. I mean, even if you actually managed to get an FFL, you really think people would support your shop? That's laughable to say the least. On top of that, 90% of the people who have cards either grow their own, buy it from the same dealer they got it from before their "back hurt" or use it as a means of transporting their re-ups without having to deal with being busted for possession. I doubt medical shops even supply 25% of the people who have a 215. Generally, I'm all for encouraging a bad businessman to try and fail, however in this case, you'd be further damaging the already skewed image of legitimate shops.

Funny side note, I know upwards of 15-20 people who have a 215 card.. not a single one of them has any medical problem or would even pretend to have one if asked about it. I'd be willing to bet (If only there was a way..) that there's over 100 abusers to every one legitimate patient. Kalifornia: Where drug deals are a taxable business and self defense is a crime.

You'd probably get no flac for selling pot and guns in SF or Oakland but as soon as you run out of drugs their gonna try and close you down cause your just a gun store.

If medical weed is only "about the patients" then why not give the weed away for free????

If any pharmaceutical company was "about the patients" then they would be supplying the "patients" with products for free.
Most are, yes, but there are true co-ops that exist. Giving away medical marijuana is the same as giving away pharmaceutical drugs. Why not make the pharm companies give free meds?

You see greed because thats all you allow yourself to see. People are out there to help.

Paying $60 an 8th is from pure greed, $35 an 8th covers grow costs and overhead.

My brother has cancer... but I guess his condition is none of your concern. **** him he only pays $80,000 a year to the pharm companies so he can see another year whats another 200% surcharge so he can stomach his food.

The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

Actually I was thinking maybe a guitar shop and also a pawn shop, with a FFL as well. Not kidding........
In Reno there is Bizarre Guitars, they are a full FFL and a guitar store. Owner is a decent guy.

Between Fernley and Fallon, NV there is the well known "Guns and Liquor" store. Their marquee often has classics i.e., "Special on 9mm, Budweiser on Sale." Convenient stop on the way to Stillwater Firearms Club in Fallon.

May as well sell coffee and donuts too.

I've heard that cops like coffee and donuts while they do their paperwork.
