Its fair to leave this open for questions but perhaps a separate forum for FFL's only would be great. I would actually pay a little bit in order to have FFL's speak openly and candidly in a closed private forum. NO 03's just commercial retail guys. Questions that would be out of sight from the authorities. Not that we need to hide things but some questions are better left not on an open forum.
There have been quite a few questions here that i would never put up on an open forum. Just sayin.Comment

Ya, plus it would eliminate non ffls and customers from constantly questioning WHY we need to do the things we feel we need to do to avoid legal issues that customers don't like.
It would allow all of us to be able hash out questions common to us with new and old laws without constantly being questioned by those that don't understand. Most of the bickering (i'm guilty) comes when non ffl's engage in the conversation.Comment

I've been advocating the same idea. So...how do we or how does this get accomplished?Ya, plus it would eliminate non ffls and customers from constantly questioning WHY we need to do the things we feel we need to do to avoid legal issues that customers don't like.

It's definitely an excellent idea and one I will follow up on.
It might take a few days, we're kind of in recovery mode here at home, July has sucked some major rocks.
Two weeks ago we lost our dog Ruger, he'd had a stroke before and we think he had another. He started wandering around the house and yard getting 'stuck' in corners and such that Sunday. About 04:30 he laid down and never got back up.
Since then our GSD Beka had a few seizures including two back to back last Friday. Sunday morning she staggered in to the bedroom, collapsed in to the dog bed and wasn't able to get up. She's wasn't eating, barely drinking and even lifting her head to drink wore her out.
We hated to do it but Monday we called a mobile Vet to come out and help her along. She's not like Ruger, she wouldn't go in her sleep. She was too strong willed and too dedicated to her self imposed job of protecting my Wife. She'd have fought it to the end but that would have only made her suffer and we couldn't allow that.
We know it's part of the deal with having pets but two in two weeks is just f**ked up.NRA Benefactor Life Member / CRPA Life Member / SAF Life Member

I know about that one, but this forum seems to provoke some pretty in depth problem solving discussions concerning CA FFL related situations which, to my mind, is more important to in-state FFL's. I'd bet that if CalGuns were to create an FFl Only forum we'd probably find a migration from that site to this site.
