I've never had a customer get mad at us. We tell them up front it's on them.

They do sometimes get frustrated (not with us) with the other party and we do help them along as best we can.

For missing FFL copy/Approval numbers, we will just call the FFL and get them. If we couldnt get them and customers couldnt get them we will just send it back.

But so far so good, we havent sent anything back yet.

We've called them to come pick it up. You're hosed when it arrives because shipping it back out is a felony too. Yes we want to avoid being in possession of an unregistered AW as well. If it comes from another dealer we ship it back like you do. We would never return a firearm to an individual though since we don't want to get flagged for sending a firearm to an unlicensed person.

I suppose if you never logged it in and just put return to sender maybe that is less of an issue?

I think you just gave us the best answer! Call PD and have them pick it up asap. Never have to worry about log them in nor ship them back.

        Thanks, very appreciated.

But you were right, we had problems with shipments coming from individuals and thats why there is this policy now.

We called the buyer and he said he had seller come in doing transfer as ppt. So we thought everything smoothed out by the buyer and seller. And we explained to both party at the time of PPT. It wasnt a back and forth incident at all.
