DOJ Response (11/03/2019 08:58 AM ): UAE is not listed in DES. A ticket will be submitted for UAE to be added to the drop-down. You must wait for it to be added before submitting a DROS. Call CSC at ###-###-#### with any questions.

If they fix one and not the other, it will show willful negligence. They keep saying that they're working on it, but they obviously haven't finished it yet. Either way, the complaint has been submitted, and the litigation clock has begun. Later this week, we should have some options to provide standing for consumers.

All they would have to do is make is so when you select receiver the rifle and shotgun box disappear like caliber and barrel length. Seems pretty simple.

Not yet. And no news as of yesterday when I called. This is hurting my business as a dealer here in google town. I have a LOT of H1B holding customers.

On the “other” subject, this affects a few other obscure firearms like the Furr Arms miniature Gatling guns. They are not rifles, not pistols, and are mounted on a carriage. They have ten 12” barrels. I can’t recall exactly, but I think I DROS’ed it as a revolver due to the barrel length and multiple barrels.

Any more info on the Title 1. It doesn't look like any accommodation has been made at this point, but they have been making a fair amount of changes to DES and the checkout / submission process.

The litigation clock is ticking. That is about it. Our counsel suggested that I should refrain from approaching them weekly while the litigation clock is ticking. Ultimately the state is just incurring more damages by purposefully neglecting their duty.

While several hundred consumers have already placed deposits, this may ultimately be the best way to provide standing in case they change the law before the legal action is complete. https://franklinarmory.com/title-1-deposit/

Some may recall that we filed an intent to sue the state. Since we are going for damages, we had to wait 90 days. After waiting the statutorily required period, we sent in the suit with the required fee. The state said the fee was not contained in the envelope, and this caused additional delays. During this time, no one from CADOJ reached out to me to compromise, so we are now forced to hold their feet to the fire. The suit is moving forward.

We continue to encourage distributors, dealers, and consumers to place orders. Consumer orders start as $5 deposits and will be converted when the DES is fixed. We appreciate everyone's patience in the interim.
