    That's what I'm thinking. They probably wont do anything unless somebody drops a dime on you and then they start looking at numbers

      I suspect just selling would not be an issue. Buying and then selling could be an issue.

        A familial gift is an OPLAW transfer. And according to 26505 is exempt from 26500.
        You need the rest of the Operation of Law PC
        27875.

        (1) The transfer is infrequent, as defined in Section 16730.

        (2) The transfer is between members of the same immediate family.

                            Whether Familial or PPT. The transferer is limited to 5 transfers per calender year. But the transferee is not limited by any number by either means.

                                Where do you see that a PPT is exempt from the limits from the 5 transactions per year?
