ATF asked and they literally just looked and said yup, those are guns.

We keep inventory 100% separate and in a dedicated part of the house that is the office. My personal items are in different safes in different rooms.

Our ATF agent was an explosive agent, very nice but did not know a damn thing about guns.

I currently keep my personal firearms in a different room than where my place of business is which is my office.
No the question never came up..

So if you are a LLC/Corp, then you are considered an unlicensed person?

Your also only required to do the multiple long gun forms if you receive a letter from the ATF to do so. I think this is in their faq on their website.

When I bought my Shield from Gunslingers, the guy writing it up read the serial number aloud as he wrote it down, then handed it to me and asked me to read it to verify.

I've never had that happen at Turners, Dave's, or any of the other places I've bought a gun, but that was the only thing unusual... none of the "read the 4473 questions aloud and answer them" that we've heard Big-5 requiring.

Makes me think that SN mismatches are common and they maybe got pinched?

twice, Gunslingers transferred guns that I bought at their auction with incorrect serial numbers. the first time I didn't spot it until I got home and was entering the serial info into my logs. Had to drive back 30 miles to fix it.

second time it happened, I decided to double-check all the guns in the parking lot before I drove off and found another incorrect serial number. walked back in and had them fix it on the spot.

third time I bought from them, before I started the DROS I had them double-check all the serial numbers and that time they were correct.

I've had other shops read me off the serial number that they had on their paperwork and have me match it to the physical gun.

I've never had anybody read me the 12? 4473 questions aloud but they usually always ask me the 4 DROS questions aloud (NO to all four). don't confuse 4473 with DROS.

That is funny. The BATF does not care about money. The CA DOJ should care about PPTs, but they don't look at money issues.

                          Interesting.
                          Perhaps they did get pinched.

I've had other shops read me off the serial number that they had on their paperwork and have me match it to the physical gun.
I've had that a number of times.
Gunslingers was the only one that had me actually read it to him.

I've never had anybody read me the 12? 4473 questions aloud but they usually always ask me the 4 DROS questions aloud (NO to all four). don't confuse 4473 with DROS.
Someone reported that Big-5 went through the 12 (guess the clerk was filling in the information rather than handing the 4473 to the buyer?), then handed them a laminated sheet with all 12 on it and had them read and answer each one.

Yes, the 4 from the DROS is always a verbal answer, but I've never been asked to read anything aloud.
