      If someone believes The Chosen is unbiblical, why would they support it in any way? Why is that sad? Bizarre.

        Why do you quote a verse that has to do with salvation through the Law when the point was about Christian Living and the Law? Sure, no can be saved by keeping the Law, my post was about how Christians can use God's moral law seen through the Law in the OT.

          1. Dallas Jenkins owns 44% of The Chosen. The other 56% is owned by the Mormons.

          2. Dallas Jenkins goes on podcasts and defends the LDS religion regularly.

          3. Season 2-3 was shot on an exclusive LDS-only film stage/set in Utah.

          4. VidAngel who distributes the series is owned exclusively by Mormons.

          Christian Pastors Voddie Bauchman and John MacArthur can?t back the series either, due to too many biblical errors with the show?s portrayal of the character playing Jesus, who says things that Jesus would never have said, because they are actual contradictions within the Bible. That?s a huge issue for me personally.

          That says it all. Thanks for sharing this. Satan doesn't appear to us as the most evil thing in the world - he appears as an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14).

          If the Mormon church is behind the The Chosen, it's of Satan and this world, not of Christ.

            Rewatching The Chosen again this weekend. It's been great.

                  Actually, they filmed most of it in Utah, at the LDS "Jerusalem Set" in, and around, Goshen.

                    Re22:18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book;

                    Pr30:6 Do not add to His words Or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar.

                    How many times does the Bible have to tell us to just STICK TO THE BIBLE? Any movie that portrays Christ violates Ex. 20:4 - it's a likeness of God. Any movie that adds to Bible stories, adds to the Word of God.

                    Your head is forever filled with pictures of Christ that are FAR LESS glorious than He is and filled with stories that aren't biblical.

                    One of the best things I ever did was to decide to stick to Scripture. Yes, there are teachers and preachers appointed by God, but they must stick to Scripture. I do my best to only speak and answer and explain from God's Word (no quoting authors, reformers, etc. - only bible verses in context). The Holy Spirit has blessed this by opening my eyes to the richness of who Jesus Christ is and how to be like Him. Only the Word of God is living and changes/grows you (Heb. 4:12).

                    This show, like all the other Jesus movies, is a violation of the God's word.

                    Sorry, read the book, it's eternally better than the movie.
                    I agree with Bill, big time 2nd commandment violation, and they have their fake Jesus saying things the real Jesus never said. So, a 9th commandment violation also.
