Is there Bacon in heaven?

For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

If you're talking about the Christian Bible, bacon is allowable. If you're talking about something else... I can't answer to that. Koran or Torah, it's a no-no. But even the OT (Torah for Hebrews) says that you can eat pork if it's a starvation situation.

Bottom line, however: There's no food in heaven. There's not even any weather or source of light, but God's glory. So really, no, no bacon in heaven.

So today at dinner, I was having a conversation with one of my nephews about the here-after.

His mother has a strict no-pork policy (7th day adventist), and though he loves it, he has to pass on the bacon. So he asked me... is there bacon in heaven?

This is a serious question, and I couldn't answer it.

On the one hand, it's specifically no-bueno in scripture... but in heaven... would the same rules apply? Is there even any meat in heaven at all? Are there animals?

If anyone would know about Bacon, it's the Calguns Brain-trust.

I really would love to hear opinions from different denominations... please enlighten me, and I will pass on this thread to the youngling.

I’m pretty sure they will live eternally also.

Fruit, vegetables and grains-yes.

Olives taste a lot like meat. (Form your olives into slices like bacon)

Jesus after he was resurrected and went to heaven came back to earth and had fish with his disciples. Maybe you can leave heaven to visit a planet with meat?

^^Sadly, you haven’t read or you just don’t understand Revelation 21. It’s not about God and His Heaven conforming around you or me. It’s about “us” conforming to God’s will and Kingdom and not our own.

The Word of God specifically says swine is not food while other animals are sanctified (Set Apart) for food.
You may do well to heed 2nd Peter 3:16

This world is just Kindergarten. We know that we're going to graduate from Kindergarten one day and we're worried about the Kindergarten teacher, the ABCs, and what will become of our Kindergarten friends.
