Of Course He knows the course of things. He made an antidote for it. All you have to do is take the free gift.

This would seem to indicate a flaw in the commonly defined nature of God. Guess we have to take it on His terms, but why give us analytical minds only to lead us astray/not intend us to use them.
Wouldn't God be the ultimate 'jury of our peers'? Why is the Judgement a one way street, I mean as we are all spiritually at least, part of and connected to God anyway. This is the problem with 'Religion', they already have all the answers.
What is this one was street you speak of? You can take any street you want.

If you believe in a God who created you, wouldn't he be able to best tell you how to live? Just as a parent to a child, who better knows how to make the choices, the Parent or the child?

I have a problem with religion too. What we see from religion is the kind of thing we are seeing the moslems do? They believe they are earning something by the deeds they commit. Look at the guy today driving the truck. Just trying to earn good deeds for his judgement (according to islam)

At least we both agree that religion is horrible. I sense you are coming to the 'light' side

God is holy. Regardless of how "good" a life that the rabbi lived, his "good" life does not measure up to God's holiness. For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

At the same time, yes, God is loving. For God so loved the world, he gave his only son. Whoever believes in him, shall not perish but have eternal life.
