Tweekers and rocks

I own pawnshops. Some in bad neiborhoods. Lots of tweekers ask us to test their bag of crystals for diamonds. So I think there is your answer.

Mystery solved.

Searching the musty carpets for the last crack rock that fell from their trembling fingers takes skill. After honing this skill, in some cases for many decades, tweekers can spot a small sparkly object from 100's of feet away. This explains how they find this 'treasure'. But why keep them?

Humans by nature like shiny things, often we keep shiny things on our person.
After smoking their lives away, tweekers are left with very few shiny things.
So, they keep pieces of broken glass or crystals in their pockets. I find it quite encouraging these tweekers still show signs of being human. Im sure you do as well.


Joking aside, thank you L.E.O.s for the extremely hard job you folk do everyday. You are much appreciated. Thank you.

Maybe a dealer sold them the rock and they just couldn't part with it lol....or it might be a last resort to sell to be able to buy some real meth...

Around here, the tweaker trifecta is meth, porn, and fraud. I can probation check any room in my motels and I'm guaranteed to find all three. Disassembled electronics and dead cell phones get honorable mentions, as well.

Funny you mention this...... I was at the river just south of Parker a few years back and this guy we knew brought this tweaker chick. We were hanging out on a sand bar and she was wearing cargo shorts. She disappeared for a while and when she came back, all the pockets on her cargo shorts were packed full of small rocks. packed...LOL. She could barely walk with all the rocks in her shorts.

Sex implements, shiny things & stolen property is what I've seen the tweekers with the most. Nasty drug, nasty disease (addiction).

I thank god for the LEOs and mental health professionals, corrections officers who have to deal with these goons long term.

Lucky for me, I work on a big red fire truck / ambulance. So in some instances, I can medicate them to help quell their delusional tweaks.
