This is what I got as of yesterday:

            Hi!

Since we have been relying heavily on prayers from you all, we wanted to reach out and share the most recent update on my mom's recovery. She has been progressing each day, making small improvements in different areas. She's doing fantastic in physical therapy, and her physical and occupational therapists are very pleased with her progress. She loves seeing pictures of our family, and an occ...asional In N Out burger and Starbucks iced tea always seem to make her feel better.

There are a couple of things we would really appreciate. Specific prayer for our mom is foremost. The first is her left arm. There has been some nerve damage and the future is unclear as to whether or not she will have full use of her arm. A series of tests will be conducted in the next few weeks to determine the extent of injury, if any.

My mom suffered a significant concussion, along with some bruising, swelling, and bleeding in her brain, which has all improved since the accident. My mom hasn't really been herself due to these injuries, but doctors assure us she will make a full recovery! They say she should return to her normal, feisty self in a matter of weeks. Praying the "weeks" these doctors speak of are more like "days"! We miss our mom!

Overall, we are so thankful she is doing better each day, and can't wait until she is 110%!!

She is still not allowed to have visitors, so please spread the word to anyone who may not have a Facebook. We will be sure to post when visitors are allowed, but right now the focus for her is spending time with immediate family as she heals.

Thank you all for your continued support and prayers... please keep them coming!

            Keep Calm and Carrie On!
