I've worked with and for Carrie on and off over the last 23 years. There is none finer on our department.

The night of the accident she had surgery to repair a lacerated liver and spleen. Saturday she had major facial surgery. Today she had an operation to repair one femur. Over the next few weeks she will need surgery to repair her other femur and shattered pelvis. She is still in a drug induced coma. She's a fighter.

I did not know her well, but interacted with her on a few projects when we were both lieutenants. She has my respect 100%.

Thanks for the update. I do not know her well, but my short interaction with her was pleasant. She is a nice lady and I understand she is well liked by her subordinates. I hate to see LEO's and their families go through this. The job is stressful enough as is.

So, the abdominal surgery would have been yesterday if she had it. Does anyone have an update beyond what I've posted.

I do not know her, but of course my thoughts are with her and her family.
