I was leading into what was to come next which was a warrantless search of the vehicle (for which probable cause is needed).
I'm aware of the difference between PC & RS and no plates on the vehicle is cause for neither. Rather, a simple fix-it ticket.
I did read all the responses btw.The more we sweat in times of peace, the less we bleed in times of war.Comment

You are right however code33 in that questions may be asked. Questions will no doubt be asked at length for how else do possible convictions present themselves? Indeed questions may be asked. It's the ability to hold ones tongue that people in those situations lack.Last edited by lotar4life; 08-06-2010, 1:13 AM.The more we sweat in times of peace, the less we bleed in times of war.Comment

No plates is a violation of the vehicle code. It is probable cause to stop your car. We can stop you and initiate an investigation to determine the ownership and registration status of the vehicle.
Since you are new to CalGuns, if you have a question PLEASE ask it in a new thread rather than bringing up one that died a needed and natural death months ago. It's called a Necropost. It is better to keep topics fresh and relevant.
