IIRC, CCW holders may pass through GFSZ 1,000-ft areas. It becomes an issue when you "set foot" on the properties.

Thanks for clearing that up. I re-read the section regarding that since I couldn't find my notes regarding that from my CCW class. I would probably just lock it up though when I go park at the curb waiting for the grands a couple days a month.

Anyone see this 60 minutes piece on the Reciprocity act that is working its way through Congress?

It's a moot point for LEOs under current law, but I worry about arming average Joe Citizen, who hasn't gone through much, if any, use of deadly force training.

Someone who was serious about spoofing that could invest in a burner, use that number on the fake ID, and pay $100 to the single mom they know to "be the SO" when that phone rings ....

Sure they can...BUT they can do that with a CA permit just as easy as a TN permit...
