We lose in CA because we see only one way, the way that's in our own head, this will never change (obviously), some of you think you know the facts, but closed your mind to any possibility that you MAY BE WRONG or a little off base because you really don't know shat ! but believe you do. your answers don't all exactly line up with what happened, but tell yourself this is so. black N white you have NO color.

I see Sacramento likely knows all to well how easily we are divided, as proven here today.

I guess it was to be expected, but for some reason I hold out hope for the CG crowd, won't make that mistake again.

FYI: you could (likely) be wrong, but you'll likely never admit it to your friends & maybe not even yourself, but you will know !

Wow Dano, calm down. Most people here are making reasonable observations, and you're attacking them because it's not the confirmation you wanted.

#1 - you were being passive aggressive. There are a lot of unhinged people out there, why goad them for no reason. Put the Ego aside, let them rage somewhere else at someone else.

#2 - there is always somewhere to pull over; shoulder, bike lane, driveway, right roadway edge and wave the driver past you, etc. It's not your place to teach a lesson. See #1.

#3 - Thats a whole lot of drama for an infraction, and tailgating is nothing more than an infraction. And if a LEO saw what you described, the other driver would get a ticket, or a stern warning, and not your choice which.

#4 - there's is always another side to the story, so a smart man would take every tale with a grain of salt. Don't get offended when others aren't outraged by your tale of offended dignity

You are right we weren't there, and we don't know the facts. But we are here, and we are seeing your reaction to our responses. You can't stay calm. I think it is telling how the two of you were behaving on the road.

What exactly did you want our reaction to be when you first posted.

And now that you are disappointed in our responses, what exactly do you want from us? Especially since you are posting in the LEO forum (I am not LEO) This is like throwing a temper tantrum in someone else's house. Kind of rude.

I am trying to tie the two together, why because we disagree with OP that we are leftist gun grabbing politicians.

From what I gather, and OP I am not poking fun of you either I mean this in all seriousness - I think you feel that the poor driving behavior of the truck driver means we should be able relegate out some form of punishment to keep bad drivers in check. If not through LEO enforcement of laws then maybe even through our own form of education. In your case, stopping short or just outright stopping.

When we disagreed, you feel that we are like the left..passive, willing to take a beating, and not ready to defend ourselves, thus giving into the gun grabbers.

Here is where your line of reasoning falls very very short. There is a time and place to defend one self, or teach a lesson. If someone breaks into my house, I am defending myself. If someone at work does something wrong, I am going to pull them aside and teach them the correct way to do things.

But I am not going to use my several ton vehicle as a means of education. You should have just let it go, but you didn't. You stopped short, then rolled down the window and yelled at her.
