Again, it's been a while (2004 or so), but the MP5SD 300 round interval (if that's right) was for the weapon, the suppressor wasn't designed to be opened or cleaned. You'd unscrew it from the barrel, then tap/blow out any loose fouling, make sure there wasn't any crud on the threads, then wipe the outside down.
They made some sort of cleaning jig that threaded into the end of the suppressor and you'd use that to clean the barrel ports and threads. It looked like one of those brushes they sell to clean car battery terminals.
I know that if you let it go too long, it could be difficult to get the suppressor unscrewed. It would take two guys to disassemble (one to hold the gun, another to twist the suppressor haha!!).
ETA: I'm sure there are pics on the net, but when we were demoing the weapons, the HK Rep has a cutaway MP5SD to show us, including the suppressor. Very unique design. And that design was from the late 60's/early 70's.
