It's also a heavy gun for a 9mm. They should go back to the 1911 again or a 40 cal, glock 22 or M&P. The M9 pistol i used to qualify at the range with, just jammed all the time.

Sorry, there is a video you can click on the front page and part of it covers it.

Then at the bottom there is a link you can click, but you have to have a subscription to the army times.

Is the added weight to control what minimal recoil the gun has?

Here's an idea, go start pulling these out of DRMO. And quit giving them away to Police agencies on a ' loan'. Oh wait, those contractors are going to want to make some $$ and tell you about the new pistol on the block.

You couldn't pay me to take the one I had. Damn thing sounded like a bag of parts if ya shook it, and forget about qualifying with it. My 1st Sgt was talking crap to me during a impromptu range session, I handed it to him and said "You hit something with it then". He ran a mag through it and started yelling for our armorer, then spent the next 30 minutes chewing his ***** for giving that POS to anyone. 3 months later had a brand new one, and never had a chance to shoot it lol.
A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it.

Good. They should replace it with the M4.

Video mentions S&W M&P 40 cal and shows a pic of one. Wonder who got paid to that picture in there?

.40 cal? What happened to NATO compatibility?

                          .
