Not reported on CNN or MSNBC? Then "the people" will never hear about it.

Since, IIRC, the CCWs only arrived in the mail in early March, I'm guessing it was the weather, and perhaps some BGs backing off since they did not know exactly when the CCWs would actually hit the streets.

I was in Lombard Illinois last week on business and met with one of my coworkers. I was surprised when he told me that he had just received his CCW - and he asked me for some handgun recommendations.

It surprised me that he received a CCW without ever having owned a gun. But I guess that is what Constitutional carry is all about.

I recommended that he try out several handguns in different calibers and then get extensive training before carrying it.

The CCWs only started going out last month, so its a bit early for that. Perhaps the fact that Chicago residents recently (since McDonald) can own handguns more so has something to do with that.
