No I don't agree 100% with them. But I do know there is power in numbers.

Hell, I don't even agree w/100% of what I do!
I didn't vote because I don't know all the NRA's positions on everything! If you do, plz post....
What I do get upset about is that, as of a few years ago, there are now 100M gun owners in the USA, yet ONLY 5M of them (5% of all gun owners for those of you in Rio Linda...), are members of the NRA. How dare any non-member gripe about the NRA having to "compromise" or having "failed" to pass or stop some piece of legislation when 95% of gun owners aren't members.sigpic Rifleman Jan 31 2010

I don't agree 100% with them, but they will continue to get my money every year, as well as the other 2A organizations I contribute to. All of the 2A organizations need all the help they can get and far too many gun owners expect others to do the heavy lifting while not spending a nickel to help.
The upland bird hunters that figure "well, the gov't is only after AR's", or the 1911 crowd that figure "the gov't is only after the hi-cap glock crowd" don't do any of us any favors at all.

No! I vehemently disagree with this:
"We have tens of millions of people across the country who support the Second Amendment and who will go out and listen to the NRA and vote the way the NRA tells them to," said Andrew Arulanandam, director of public affairs for the National Rifle Association."

No. But the NRA is the most influental group in this country for gun rights. And I gladly give them my yearly dues and keep my membership in good standing.
I believe that without the NRA we would be in much worse shape on a national level. And every new member of the NRA is worth three or four yelling, screaming, insane gun prohibitionists.Comment

The whole Christian Patriots vibe bugs me.
I don't need an invisible friend to help me be a Patriot.

In defending the Second Amendment, about 99.99 % for the most part.

NRA is just like the sierra club a place for idiot's to put their money to feel better about themselves.
I dunno, I've never been much for guns. I mean, sure, we have the usual gun by the door, another near the TV, one in the kitchen, and another in the bedroom...and several others laying around. For the most part though, we keep our home free of guns. We are peace loving folks.Comment

I don't agree with any club, association, group, tribe or party 100%. The fact that so many people do is one of the grave problems with modern society and politics.Originally posted by cockedandglockedGetting called a DOJ shill has become a rite of passage around here. I've certainly been called that more than once - I've even seen Kes get called that. I haven't seen Red-O get called that yet, which is very suspicious to me, and means he's probably a DOJ shill.Comment
