    Few agree 100 percent

Few of us would agree 100 percent with any group, that being said, it is not what they do I disagree with, rather the few things I disagree with the NRA is on the things they DON'T do.

There has been some inter gun group fighting and being the "Big Dog" in the "Room", the NRA should step up and address and correct grievances other gun groups have with them.

Didn't like when they supported harry reid. WLP had some stupid news conference with him in Nevada about a big local range opening. Said he was a good friend of the 2A and he was a good sportsman blah blah blah. Reid recounted bird hunting as a child blah blah blah.

Dirty harry is one of the most vicious anti gunners in the senate. I thought he may have at one point been an "ace in the hole" but recent events have proven otherwise.

It is difficult to look into a man's soul to find out what he really thinks. Just like Moonbeam and his arsenal of weapons. Appearances can be deceiving. Let's face it, Democrat politician in a red state, he wouldn't lie to attain office would he? LMAO.

I would hardly think being accused of being a totalitarian or an anti rights advocate could be considered as " doing it right "

You can vote against Nugent for the NRA board and Glen Beck is not a board member !

As an NRA member, if your a member ? you may nominate those of your political persuasion. i.e. Oprah Winfrey or Ellen Degeneres

I don't know the truth of the matter but this is off their web site:

Membership is free, thanks to the generous donations of the National Rifle Association. As a primary source of funding, the National Rifle Association is vital to the Bible Choir's functioning. Along with its generous monetary donations, the NRA provides the largest influx of new members to the Bible Choir. To further their act of good-will, the NRA even distributes to Bible Choir members coupons for discounts on firearms such as shotguns, handguns and hunting rifles from NRA-lisenced retailers.

I searched the NRA website and am unable to find the quote you posted . Do you have a link ?

I did find this link regarding charitable grants and there is no mention of bible choir or bible or choir or anything resembling those words .

                        Two issues for me.

Supplying money to Democrats because they maybe 2A friendly. They were considering donating to Harry Reid at one time, before they decided not to. Liberals by definition are progressive. They can't and won't be happy with status quo. Go ahead and give the balance to the Democrats in both houses in 2016. With Hillary in control; you will see the liberal appointees that make up the new and improved Supreme Court which will dismantle every aspect of the second amendment.

Stop the solicitation calls. I gave $500 already. I rather donate to Calguns and other organizations that are more active in the state. I also use the "Shop 4 2A" when I can. I also authorize the "round up" campaign at retailers supporting the NRA. When I get 2 to 3 calls per month from the NRA and I see little to no political action in our fight against the anti's, I do get a little pissed.

YUP! Time to stand up join and be counted... somewhere! 7 million CA gun owners, less than 400,000 NRA members. What do you non NRA member brain surgeons think that tells the Califonia politicians/Democrats???? What do you think that tells the rest of the NRA?

I don't agree with any person or entity 100%. But I do think that most of what the NRA does to promote, safe, legal gun ownership, and their support of the 2A is generally a good thing.

Until Heller, most of the fight has been political, not judicial. Heller changed that. The NRA didn't like judicial action because it can easily go against you and if it does, you can **** over the entire nation at once and it can take 1/2 a century or more to undo, if ever.... Look at us right now, fearing that SCOTUS might take a Carry case AFTER Obama/Hillary packs the Court.

If you support the CGF, you might want to read what Gene Hoffman, the head of CGF, says about supporting CGF rather than the NRA. I've got his quote in my sig line.
