I'm just wondering if there are any issues that members disagree with the NRA. Please describe any NRA position that you do not completely support. I hope that this thread will be a helpful and informative discussion. Thanks!

The whole Christian Patriots vibe bugs me.
I don't need an invisible friend to help me be a Patriot.

I agree with the NRA 100% on its stance on gun control issues and its work on gun safety education, and so on.
I don't agree with a lot of the stuff I see in Rifleman Magazine columns, or what I hear at the Annual Meeting.WTB: French & Finnish firearms. WTS: raw honey, tumbled .45 ACP brass, stupid cat.Comment

The National Rifle Association Christian Bible Choir is affiliated with neither the NRA nor the Christian Church. The NRA seal is copyrighted by the NRAThe American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.Comment

Hell, I don't even agree w/100% of what I do!
I didn't vote because I don't know all the NRA's positions on everything! If you do, plz post....
What I do get upset about is that, as of a few years ago, there are now 100M gun owners in the USA, yet ONLY 5M of them (5% of all gun owners for those of you in Rio Linda...), are members of the NRA. How dare any non-member gripe about the NRA having to "compromise" or having "failed" to pass or stop some piece of legislation when 95% of gun owners aren't members.Comment

All I know is the NRA's stance on the second amendment.
I don't think its possible to agree 100% with anyone or any organization.Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Do you agree with any group 100%? Do you agree with you wife on every single thing? How about your job? Your kids? Of course I don't agree 100%. I do understand that they are the strongest gun rights group and they need more support.
One thing I 100% don't agree with. 2nd amendment freeloaders who won't support the NRA (or at least some other organization) for some trivial reason. Get out of the cart and pull!
OP, I am not saying you are one of those people.https://www.facebook.com/pages/Union...70812799700206

Not all the time because I think for myself. That whole "groupthink" B.S. applies to ALL sides and not just the left.
You know you're doing it right when the "uber-sure" voices from both sides accuse you of being a card carrying member of the other.sigpic

I don't agree with the NRA 100%, but I don't agree with anybody 100%. I agree with them enough that I am a life member and will continue to support the organization.
Gun owners need to wake up and realize that the NRA has done more for preserving our 2nd ammendment rights than any other organization. You don't have to agree with them 100%, but if you believe in their basic objective of preserving our rights and freedoms, you should be a member.Comment
