also realize guys, today is the start of the new internet sales tax that out of state retailers have to abide by for sending items in CA.

if the shop does either 200 transactions or over $100,000 in business they have to collect the sales tax per the address the items are being shipped too.

so for all those ordering today, don't be surprised when you see a tax charge once the processing goes through.

those that were charged during the weekend are lucky as they made it under the wire, even if the shipment didn't go out, as long as you were charged pre-April 1st, you should not be charged sales tax by the out of state retailers.

I placed a Brownells order an hour or so ago and wasn't charged sales tax.
