I think some of the people getting their knickers in knots over grabagun need to give them a chance. Imagine being in the business right now of uncertainty while getting slammed by thousands of orders.

Hey, here's some FUD. CA can now 'audit' online sellers for sales tax compliance which gives them an opportunity to get customer's names and purchase details. to refer to DOJ for....what? Like I said FUD. Dindu nuffin'

i wasn't talking about some paranoid backdoor registry of people buying magazines. i'm talking actual sales tax being charged by retailers.

if the retailers don't charge you, the customer, the sales tax, when CA demands their sales tax payment, it will come out of the retailer's own pockets.

this is why calamity sue was complaining that PSA was charging sales tax to their address in NV, as other states have also started doing this. CA gave retailers until April 1st instead of January 1st like other states did.

and with the way CA buyers are buying magazines, the 200 transactions / $100,000 in sales have most likely been easily met

I also emailed several of the base pad sellers asking if they are now selling extended base pads in CA. No answer yet from either Springer or Taran.

A lot of out-state-pro-2A guys are actually holding off on purchases to allow California residents to buy them all up. I'm part of a Texas Builder group where many members agreed not to buy any magazines for a while.
