I feel like running up to Reno/Sparks and go shopping. Checked Cabela's and Scheels, some stuff I want shows as in stock, some show as out of stock. I could be up there in a little over 2 hours. I would not be pleased to get up there and all my brothers & sisters bought out everything. Good for them but not for me...
I am not sure what a day will bring. My online orders seem like a lifetime between looking good today and the door getting slammed shut on shipping while the ruling gets dragged through the swamp...NRA Member

Any sources for affordable M1A mags? The only source I've found that isn't out of stock (Tombstone Tactical) is selling the 20rd mags for $44 each, which is a little rich for my blood. I'd love a 3-pack of Thermolds, but Sportsman's Guide isn't currently shipping to us.
My understanding is that Checkmate makes the SA mags so I went ahead and ordered 4 of them for $29.99 each. I checked back on PSA site yesterday and could not believe they were still in stock. However, just checked right now and saying out of stock.Comment

I wanted 20rd mags for my M1A Scout. I always have used Checkmate mags for M1A which work flawlessly and that first night I heard the news a few days ago I saw on PSA website they were out of Checkmate mags but had Springfield M1A 20rd mags.

We stock the very best M14 magazine that money can buy, the MIL-SPEC M14 Magazine made in Taiwan for the T57 rifle. These magazines are produced to ensure that the Taiwanese military has a constant supply of high quality magazines for their M14 rifles that remain in service. Also, I just found out about National Surplus out of Nevada, on BuyMyMags.com. They have 20rd m1a mags for on sale $12.99, but I'm not sure if they're legit or not, so I haven't tested whether or not they'll ship to us. Does anybody else know anything about these guys and the quality of their magazines?Comment

Hypothetically, what would happen to the people that get the standard capacity mags this weekend and they get banned again on Monday? I'm definitely not an expert but I remember that prior to Friday, even grandfathered mags were illegal. I think that grandfathered mags being illegal may happen again, unless I'm totally wrong.
I have a strong suspicion that it'll be banned on Monday, and only a handful of retailers will follow through with their promise of shipping to CA.Comment
